So you might have heard/noticed that we took some time off in May to go to Greece, celebrate Amy Carmell and Matt Jones' wedding in Chicago (which was SO fabulous), and do pretty much anything and everything except work on our own wedding plans. Oops!
We are feeling a little bit behind, but making some major strides this weekend:
On Thursday, we plan to sign the contract with our wedding planner, Michele Adams. We have heard fabulous things about Michele and her team at Unique Weddings, especially from two friends who got married over Memorial Day weekend. We're excited to work with Michele on our vision for our special day.
On Friday, we have our tasting at the Westin! My dad and Catherine are joining me and Austin, and we will be participating in a group tasting so that we can get a feel for how the food looks/tastes when served to a number of guests. This should be one of the best/most fun parts of wedding planning.
On Saturday, Catherine and I are going to Wedding Belles on Magazine Street to try on dresses. They are also having a Jenny Yoo Trunk Show so I should be able to check that out as an option for bridesmaids dresses.
Should be a fun, wedding-planning-filled weekend! We'll report back...
